The Challenge
The company’s personnel management system was outdated and lacked any elements of employee motivation or efficiency management (Talent Management, Performance Management). Managers at all levels, except the C-board, were not motivated and received a fixed monthly salary regardless of the company’s performance or personal achievements.
This model required full automation due to its complexity, which involved setting and monitoring various KPIs for each employee. These KPIs ranged from sales targets (such as the sale of insurance policies and other insurance services) to performance metrics for the HR and accounting departments. Additionally, employees who met their KPIs would have to be rewarded based on their results.
Due to PZU’s size, manually supporting such a process was practically impossible. Furthermore, at the time of the new model’s development, the company lacked an automated system that could facilitate the automation of this process.

To make the new employee motivation model work, Nectain took on the mission of automating the entire process using the Nectainium platform. For this, it was necessary to integrate existing company products, such as the specialized CRM, scoring system, and HRM system.

STEP 01 KPI Setting and Planning Automation
Nectain’s solution implemented business processes for setting and controlling various KPIs for each company employee, covering areas from insurance sales to HR and accounting.
STEP 02 Automated Semester Planning
Each employee received their planned KPI values for each planning period based on their specific activities. The planning process for each semester was automated, with planned KPIs communicated and agreed upon with all employees.

STEP 03 Integration of Actual Indicators
Actual performance indicators were automatically collected through integration with the company's relevant systems, including the specialized insurance CRM, scoring system, and HRM system. A consolidated efficiency indicator was calculated automatically for each employee, which was then transmitted to the payroll and bonus calculation system for the calculation and payment of the corresponding bonus, provided targets were met.
STEP 04 Real-time Performance Monitoring and Career History
Each employee had access to detailed, real-time information about their current results. Additionally, the work history and performance indicators for each employee were automatically stored in their dossier, which was used for forming a talent pool and supporting career progression.
